Tony's Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Tony’s Restaurant in Findlay feels like slipping into a well-loved family retreat, where the pace slows just enough to savor both good company and hearty, comforting food. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, a mix of familiar voices and the gentle hum of plates being set down, punctuated by easy laughter. It’s the kind of place where neighbors gather, and strangers find themselves lingering past their meals, drawn in by a sense of belonging rather than flash or formality.
Here, every part of the visit unfolds at its own welcoming rhythm — from the bright, inviting salad bar that offers more than just greens, to the satisfying, no-fuss meals that arrive with generous portions and thoughtful touches. Whether it’s the tender ribs that pull easily from the bone, or a sandwich paired with a variety of sides, each dish reflects a simple joy in classic American comfort food done with care. The salad bar, in particular, acts as a communal centerpiece, dispelling the typical rush of a dinner and inviting guests to explore their plates a little more leisurely, creating moments that feel as nourishing as the food itself.
Families and longtime locals alike find a quiet reassurance here — a place that honors tradition without feeling stuck, where the menu has been thoughtfully pared down to favorites that consistently satisfy. Kids and adults navigate the offerings with equal delight, whether it’s a crunchy chicken fingers and fries combo or a hearty pork chop paired with a baked sweet potato. The blend of relatable, nostalgic dishes and a calm, grounded environment makes Tony’s less about hurry and more about connection.
For those discovering Tony’s for the first time, the experience invites a little pause — a chance to appreciate that sometimes comfort and care in a meal come from the small human details, like a friendly server explaining the salad bar’s offerings or a table sharing stories over a Big Ben Burger. In this neighborhood haven, the emphasis is as much on the shared moments around the table as on the food itself, marking Tony’s not just as a place to eat, but as a place to come home to.

This was my first time here. At first glance at the menu I thought the prices were high. After asking the server, I learned a lot of the dinner meals come with the salad bar. The salad bar is more than just salad. I did have a nice salad as well, but at the end of the bar is different stuff like pasta salads and dessert fluffs. I loved the dessert fluffs! I filled up too much on the salad bar, that by the time the food came out I was floored by the size of the portion. Those chicken tenders are massive! They're like flat tender filets and you get 4 of them. No way could I finish my meal. It was very good from what I did eat of it though. It was a good experience and I would go back. We went mid day on a Thursday and the place was nice and quiet too!

Very nice. Delicious food. Sorry I missed taking pics of the ribs. We were hungry.

The ribs were tender enough I never had to pick up a bone. I just used my fork to pull the meat off the bone and it was falling off. Onion rings were nothing fancy. Mainly went for the salad bar which did not disappoint. It came with my dinner meal, which was $22. I just ate two plates of loaded salad and took most of the ribs home with me.

I hadn’t been to Tony’s for a few years, but was meeting a friend in Findlay and was feeling nostalgic. The menu has been curtailed a bit, which is fine by me. I always get a little concerned when a menu has too many items - thinking how can they do THIS MUCH well? But one of the things they took aways was the one-trip salad bar that you could add to any sandwich or even the bowl of soup. I always remember enjoying the salad bar and so I ended up ordering a dinner at lunch to get the salad bar included. I was not disappointed. I ended up with a 1/4 rack of ribs and waffle fries and a salad bar that I truly enjoyed. It was a much larger meal than I planned on, but we can splurge every once in a while! I ordered the ribs to get a little something along with the salad bar which would have been $15 on its own anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the ribs and would definitely order them again. It’s all the toppings that are available on the salad bar and the prepared salads that make it truly wonderful. There aren’t many restaurants around that put that much care into a lineup like theirs. Kudos to the management at Tony’s for a consistently good salad bar for YEARS!

The fish was greatly. 8/31/25: great ribs and salad bar.
